    Do you have parking available?

        Yes, there is parking available at the rear of our practice. To access our parking, please use the left-hand side driveway. Please note that our driveway is quite narrow so please drive slowly and carefully. 4WD’s and larger cars can use the right-hand side driveway which is a little wider but please park behind our practice.

    Do you see new patients?

        We welcome new patients of all ages at Dr Didaskalu’s Dental Practice and gratefully appreciate when you refer a friend or family member.

    Do you offer payment plans?

        We understand that the expense of visiting the dentist can often deter patients so to help our patients maintain a healthy smile, we do offer payment plans which can be organised with Dr Didaskalu and our friendly front office staff.     Can I whiten or bleach my teeth?

        We offer a take-home teeth whitening system which involves fitting small personalised mouthguards which are worn overnight in combination with our bleaching solution. Dr Didaskalu has found this system to be very effective, especially on patients with a more yellow shade to their teeth.

    How do I pronounce your name?

        Listening to the different pronunciations is always fun for Dr Didaskalu and the team. It is spelt: Didaskalu and pronounced Dee-das-carloo. Just say it 5-10 times and you’ll be set for life.

    What if I have not been to the dentist for years?

        This is common and usually for good reason, often because of a bad experience at some point in the past. Please help us to understand your situation and we will help to get your teeth back on track and into a healthy condition.

    Why do I hate the dentist?

        Now we know that you don’t hate Dr Didaskalu personally, however, this is a common theme that we hear. Please let the team know if you feel like this and we will do everything possible to help you through it.

    How much will my dental treatment be?

        The cost of dental treatments will depend on a range of factors. So that we can give you a more precise quote on any treatment needed, an initial examination is recommended. Here we can discuss with you all possible options and find the right one for you before putting together a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

    How and when do I pay?

        At Dr Didaskalu’s Dental Practice, we prefer payment on the same day of the appointment. Payment can be taken in three convenient ways: Cash, Cheque or EFTPOS. If you claim through a private health insurance, our front office staff can claim the rebate for you on the spot. Please bring your health fund card to every appointment for this reason. Payment plans are an option that can be discussed with Dr Didaskalu and our friendly front office staff.

        We treat and welcome the whole family. Children are as welcome as adults and seniors.

    Do you have emergency appointments?

        Every day we put aside extra time for emergencies. On weekends the dentists of Ballarat take turns in providing a weekend emergency service. Please call our practice for the contact number.

    Do you accept the Child Dental Benefit schedule through Medicare?

        We accept the Government/Medicare Child Dental Benefit scheme. For some services there will be a small gap to be paid by you.
